GTO: Shonan 14 Days Marks Return of Great Teacher Onizuka

This year’s 27th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine will announce on Wednesday that Tohru Fujisawa’s Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO) manga is returning under the name GTO: Shonan 14 Days. The Shōnan setting is the coastal bay area near Tokyo that is also the locale of Fujisawa’s Shonan Junai-gumi . Tokyopop released the original GTO manga and GTO: The Early Years, both of which recount the misadventures of Ekichi Onizuka, the biker gang member who becomes the “Greatest Teacher in the World.”
